Vitulus females were very successful at the Royal Brisbane Show 2009. Perhaps the most interesting fact was that all winning females were related as they were all out of the same dam Gunny Gumpy Queeny.

Vitulus Wins both Ekka Carcass Competitions

VITULUS Lowlines at Thornton has taken out an historic double, winning both the lightweight and heavyweight sections of the 2009
carcase competition at the Brisbane Ekka, with the winner of the lightweight section named Grand

We changed the format of our Annual On-farm Field Day in 2007 to include all small breeds. In the past we have had over 400 people attend. Now it is even bigger with more trade displays and more cattle. The emphasis next year will be on beef production for small breeds.
